The apartment
comprises of a fully equipped kitchen/diner, spacious lounge and two good sized
double bedrooms with air conditioning, both en-suite with solar powered hot
water. There are also ceiling fans throughout. To the rear of the property
there is a large veranda with patio seating and two sun loungers. (For those
with small children there is a blow-up mattress suitable for two). Linen etc
will be provided and the services of a housekeeper to clean twice a week and
change beds etc.
The apartment
is situated in a quiet location and is only a seven minute stroll to the beach
where you will find beautiful white sand and a turquoise blue sea. There is a
beach bar where you can purchase food and drinks and will receive a very warm
welcome from Jo and Rachelle. Next door you will find
Dive Barbados where John
and Mary will be happy to take you on a fantastic diving experience! The
Lonestar Restaurant is located just a few short steps along the beach for fine
dining.
Patanne
Gardens is between Holetown and Speightstown, approximately a 5 – 10 minute
drive in either direction. There you will find shops and garage etc with plenty
of ‘Rum Shacks’ and Bar/Restaurants en route. You will also find plenty of food
stalls selling and cooking their wares at the roadside (not to be missed).
Transfer time
from the airport is approximately 40 minutes. A hire car is recommended but not
absolutely necessary, however if you do decide to hire all licencing
arrangements will be made by the hire firm, just remember to take your driving
licences with you. Arrangements can be made on your behalf by ourselves with a
Car Hire Firm that we use, they will take you to the apartment on arrival and
provide you with a detailed map of the Island. If you choose not to hire a
vehicle a taxi from the airport costs approximately 80 Barbados dollars which is
about £20.00. The temperature in Barbados is fairly constant between 28 –31
degrees with 8 – 9 hours of sunshine. The flight time is approximately 8 hours
and the language in Barbados is English, and they drive on the left hand side of
the road. The currency is the Barbados Dollar.
Barbados
boasts powder white beaches and spectacular underwater scenery, perfect for
diving, snorkelling and swimming with the turtles. Fishing trips are also
popular on the Island. Also check out the surfing at Bathsheba.
Barbados
offers a very relaxed pace of life perfect for ‘chilling out!’ The people are
very friendly. Try out the ‘Rum Shacks’ for relaxing with the locals at local’s
prices. There is plenty of nightlife too for those who want to party! What
ever you want you will find on this beautiful Island.

A £100 deposit
is required when confirming a booking – the balance being payable two weeks
before departure.
